What you need to do
If you would like to know more about giving your scheme members a combined pension forecast contact us through this website or call us on 0870 010 1684 from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. You will be assigned a Customer Account Manager who will provide information about the service and answer any questions you may have.
Do I have to ask the scheme members?
Once you've received the information on the service, decided to go ahead and registered with your Customer Account Manager, you should inform your scheme members of your participation in the scheme and allow them the opportunity to opt-out of the service. Keep a record of who has chosen to receive a combined pension forecast and who has chosen to opt out.
What happens then?
Once you know which scheme members want a combined pension forecast, you can send their personal details to us. Using the National Insurance record of each of your scheme members, we will work out the State Pension earned so far and the projected State Pension at State Pension age and send this information to you. You can then send out your statements as normal, but with the extra State Pension information included in the statement.
What if my scheme members have questions?
Your scheme members' questions about their State Pension can be handled by our contact centre. Your Customer Account Manager can give you the details.
