Energy Efficiency Advice Centres
The advice and support offered by the Energy Efficiency Advice Centres (EEACs) is freely available to everyone who is interested in energy efficiency and saving money on their fuel bills.
There is a freephone number available to ring and an adviser will ask you a few questions about your home before they can advise you on the best options for your personal circumstances. They may also be able to give you information on grants and offers especially aimed at people who are 60 and over and who are receiving certain benefits.
Energy Efficiency Advice Centres are local centres set up to offer you free, unbiased advice and support on how to make your home more energy-efficient and comfortable, and save money on your fuel bills.
To contact your local Energy Efficiency Advice Centre please phone 0800 512 012 (for England and Wales). Your call will be transferred automatically to your nearest centre. The call is free and all advice is provided free of charge.
You can also find more information about how to save money on your fuel bills on the Energy Saving Trust 'Save Energy' website.
