Neighbourhood Watch is one of the biggest crime prevention initiatives ever. Anyone can get involved in a Neighbourhood Watch scheme.
It is a scheme that allows local people to help the police cut crime. It also encourages people to be good neighbours and brings communities closer together.
Each scheme is led by a volunteer co-ordinator who gets their neighbours together to discuss how they can make their streets a safer place to live. They keep in close touch with local police to share information and advice.
You can also contact your local police station. You will find the address and number in the phone book.
